| As
previously mentioned LEECH performed over 120 gigs last year. With the
success of last year we will continue to play various venues around the UK
and festivals.
Some of the biggest shows of the year were at THE B.M.F (British Motorcycle Federation) Tail End Show at The East Of England Showground Peterborough, Hanwell Carnival, and a number of appearances after matches at the Twickenham Stoop Stadium the home of Harlequins Rugby League! BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR LEECH MYSPACE FOR PHOTOS, NEWS & MP3 SOUND FILES! |
| LEECH have been included on a tribute CD to the very popular band FEEDER (famous for great tunes
such a Buck Rogers, Just A Day and recently Forget About Tomorrow which
raced into the Top Ten this summer). The tribute album is called "A Place
Inside Our Minds II" which is available for download from http://www.feedertribute.co.uk LEECH have two tracks included on this album which are "Swim" and "High" which they perform at many of their gigs. |
|
LEECH will continue to play various venues around West
London, however you might catch a glimpse of the lead singer at various
Underground stations playing the guitar and singing as he has now become a
professional and legal busker!
He is now the proud owner of the busking licence which he obtained through London Underground and the brewery giant Carling (who incidentally organise and sponsor live gigs such as The Reading Festival and The NME Awards). So if you see him playing at Tottenham Court Road, Bank or Leicester Square Stations throw him a bit of loose change, he will really appreciate it! |
